dBm069-Engine is the name of the platform wich runs the whole process of TR-069 testing. Its main functionalities are:
Read and execute automatically the Library Test.Cases included in a library Run a manual test step by step Use the dBmACS for CPE management Use an external ACS (optional) Generate/analyze traffic Use its internal STUN server Use HTTP & FTP servers Analyze results and decide if a Test Case execution Passed or Failed Capture TR-069 traffic logs Use WireShark to manually analize the TR-069 captures Generate reports Compare results of different executions to verify behavior improvement dBm069 ACS MOTdBm-069 is the first independent tool in the market intended for the final TR-069 validation of a CPE that will work in a MOTIVE ACS scenario.
dBm069-Engine + dBm069-ACS-MOT is intended for Telecom Operators that deployed the MOTIVE ACS in their Access Network. dBm-069 works in connection with the MOTIVE HDM and interacts with the MOTIVE ACS in the same way that a human tester would do when performing TR-069 validation tests in a CPE in a manual way. Testing a CPE using dBm-069 guarantees that the CPE will also behave correctly when deployed in the real MOTIVE ACS environment.
CPE Final Validation is the testing process that a Telecom Operator must perform to guaranty that the CPE will correctly work in the Operator Access Network. The best way to do this is testing in the Lab using the same ACS scenario than in the Access Network.
